Sarah McMenemy was commissioned to illustrate a scene of San Francisco for a radio show called Tales Of The City: Significant Others. The story is set in San Francisco, back in Barbary Lane, Mrs Madrigal is still attending to her sinsemilla plants, Michael has found love again with his new boyfriend Thack, and Brian and Mary Anne have gone to higher ground living in a house that looms over Barbary Lane on The Summit. Sarah McMenemy’s bright warm colours bring life to the urban love story.
