“On Weekend FT, illustration plays a huge part in the look of the paper and the website. Due to time constraints I often prefer to talk directly to the agency and in doing so I need to be confident that they understand the brief and on occasions offer advice on the right illustrator who can offer good solutions along with stunning illustration. The Artworks is an agency that does exactly that.
“For me using The Artworks takes the stress out of commissioning illustration and I have always been very happy with the final results.”

Graham Tuckwell, Art Director, The Financial Times

Laurindo Feliciano illustrates what it means to be happy for the Wellcome Collection.

What is it to be happy? This is the major question that Laurindo Feliciano was asked to illustrate to accompany an ongoing series of articles for the Wellcome Collection; The Happiness Quest.

Each image references the different focuses of the articles, from the pursuit of happiness to explorations into chemicals and psychedelics; Laurindo’s collages perfectly capture the precarity and nostalgia of the feeling of being happy.
