Rosie Scott lives and works in Brighton. She has always loved drawing, especially from life and stilll can't believe that people will pay her
to do something so enjoyable. She started her training as an illustrator at Falmouth College of Arts in Cornwall which was a fantastic place to study and live.
But it was only when Rosie joined the 2nd year of the Visual Communication BA at Middlesex she started to really find out which direction she wanted to go in with illustration and it was here with the help of excellent tutor Geoff Grandfield that Rosie learnt to be a lot more instinctive with line and compositions
Rosie graduated with a First Class Honours in 1999 and shortly after this fell pregnant with her daughter Mia so spent the next few years after this being a full-time mum. In order to get back into the swing of illustration Rosie started a part-time MA in Sequential Design at Brighton University specializing in Children's book illustration. This course resulted in selection for the Bologna book fair exhibtion and annual 2004 and also in the publication of her first children's book The Panther Sale.
