Liv Bargman has collaborated with Jess Wilson in a project called ‘Pencil Chit Chat’. The pair first met when illustrating the walls of Concrete Hermit in 2009 for the launch of Amelia’s Anthology of Illustration. Their mutual appreciation of each other’s work and in particular hand drawn typography inspired Jess with the idea to ask Liv to take part in ‘a continuous pencil chit chat’. They will once again be reunited by writing on the walls of the Front Room in Cambridge between the 16th and 20th August 2010, if you’re in the area pop along! You can also read an interview the pair did recently for Amelia’s magazine: http://www.ameliasmagazine.com/art/pencil-chit-chat-with-jess-wilson-and-liv-bargman/2010/08/06/

After pulling through a long, cold and snowy winter in Stockholm Dan Haskett has moved to Berlin for the warm summer evenings. While working on commissions he also plans to work on personal projects based on Berlin and the variety of street life that it offers as well as it’s vast history of the past century which is still evident around the city. Fortunately he is also in the good company of fellow Artworks illustrator, Heather Gatley, and if time permits, a bit of collaborative work could happen. Outside of working hours they will both be working hard on their table tennis skills on the many tables that Berlin’s parks have to offer.

We are really excited to announce that we are beginning the New Year with a fresh start: we now have a new US associate – the highly prestigious Mendola Artists in New York.  It is so refreshing for us to be collaborating with such a like-minded and professional group of agents, and Steph and I had a great meeting with Tim, Tom and Nancy in New York back in November to finalise the arrangement.   Mendola has been a well-respected agency in the US illustration business since Joe Mendola founded it in the 1960s, and it’s a wonderful new start for our group of distinguished and talented British artists to be represented by an agency with such high standards of excellence and with such a wide range of clients and expertise.   You can find our artists’ pages at www.mendolaart.com in the Portfolios and Recent Projects sections.    If you are a US client and are interested in commissioning one of our artists please contact Mendola on 212.986.5680 or email info@mendolaart.com
