Rachael Saunders invites you to step inside her illustrated Ancient Rome.

This month sees the publication of “Step Inside Long Ago Ancient Rome’, fully illustrated by Rachael Saunders and published by Usborne books. The next instalment in the Step Inside series (the previous was Egypt) “…Ancient Rome” is packed full of laser-cut pages, perfect for peering back in time and into the lives of the romans.

Rachael’s talent for character work shines through in the pages, featuring scenes of Roman soldiers holding a victory parade, citizens visiting a bathhouse, and gladiators preparing for battle.
