Next week see’s the opening of “Les Voyages Ordinaires”, an exhibition of Laurindo Feliciano‘s illustrations for the titular book written by Francois Lozet. Incorporating Laurindo’s digital collage and paintings, the final object is much more than a book; it is a graphic object, guided and shaped by designer Uli Meisenheimer.
“Discover a gallery of illustrative characters, some forgotten stories, the love of a former circus artist, animals, trees, insects and flowers, moments escaped from the melancholy of things or snatched by dreams: for ordinary travels are all at once – extracts of existence lived like travels.”
“I am pleased to invite you to the opening of the book “Les Voyages ordinaires” on Wednesday, December 1st, at 7 p.m. on the occasion of the exhibition-installation at “Simon Madeleine gallery (7 rue des Gravilliers, 75003 Paris, M° Rambuteau ou Arts et Métiers). An opportunity to meet again, or finally meet in person, and dive into the universe of François Lozet’s book, an exhibition of my illustrations and design works by Uli Meisenheimer. I hope to see you all, so we can have a glass of wine, to discuss and have a great moment.”
