Robert Ball illustrates a buff llama loading screen for Fortnite!

Robert Ball has contributed a bespoke illustrated loading screen for online game and cultural phenomenon Fortnite. Illustrating the hard-hitting subject matter of Buff Llamas (“…a super powered version of a llama – think along the lines of Nobby the Sheep crossed with John Rambo.”), Robert’s illustration is a dynamic, bright and silly depiction of these proud warrior Camelids.

Contacted by John Sondow at Epic Games, Robert largely had free reign to create whatever he liked, “The best thing was being asked to create something that I thought would work – Epic games were looking for a variety of artists work and technique so they were very light on imposing their own aesthetic.”
