Hannah Bailey has illustrated a garden throughout spring for Wildlife Trusts magazine’s ‘Wildlife Gardening’ feature. She will be returning throughout the year to make updated versions of the same garden in the different seasons.
Making sure all the important elements – a hedgerow, flower bed, pond, a crabapple tree, log pile, compost heap and lots of areas with long grass for the wildlife – were easily recognisable, Hannah said the main challenge was fitting in all of the detail. We think it looks bustling with life!
“It’s going to be fun to see how the garden grows and changes as the year goes by! Watch this space! “
