Amy Grimes illustrates Cinematic Places for White Lion Publishing.

The latest in the inspired travellers guides illustrated by Amy Grimes ‘Cinematic Places’ has been published by White Lion Publishing, an imprint of Quarto. The book features 25 locations insider by cinematic locations, with 60 beautiful illustrations by Amy detailing each one.
My challenge with this series is always working on so many illustrations! I always try to plan ahead and make sure I have enough time for these but there’s always a few late nights involved towards the end getting it all finished.

Working on the iPad and then adding her signature hand-painted textures to the finals on photoshop, Amy’s images capture the unique ambience of each location with painterly precision.
