Lindsey Spinks

Lindsey Spinks is an illustrator based just outside the London area working from her pastel coloured studio at the bottom of her garden, alongside her two rescue dogs, Elsie and Lily. Lindsey has over ten years experience as a freelance illustrator after graduating with a degree in Illustration from Kingston University and subsequently a Masters in Sequential Design at University of Brighton. The process Lindsey employs to create her artwork always begins with a hand drawn line. Her medium of choice, a mechanical pencil allows Lindsey to create work that is traditional with a contemporary twist. Once drawn her work is scanned and digitally enhanced through layering colour and textures.
Lindsey’s previous clients include Time Out, Running Press, Stylist, Waitrose Kitchen, Sainsbury’s magazine, Science Museum, Barnes & Noble, Financial Times, The Independent, Stella magazine and more…
