This lovely review in the ‘Camden New Journal’ covered the event, quoting Chris, “I enjoy coming to schools and doing this sort of thing. It gives me the chance to test my books to see if the kids enjoy them. It’s great fun and a real buzz. They are so enthusiastic.” and celebrated his other achievments, ‘The author also wrote George and the Dragon, and Teeth, Tails, and Tentacles which won the 2004 New York Times Book Review’s Best Illustrated Children’s Book Award.’ Well done Chris, the children looked chuffed to have you there!
