LUCY AND ANDREW DAVIDSON VISIT NEW YORK

On February 7th the Society of Illustrators in New York held its 56th Illustrators Exhibition and Awards Ceremony and our artist Andrew Davidson was delighted that his series of engravings for the new Harry Potter covers was accepted for the Exhibition. As he hadn’t met our American agents at Mendola yet he decided to attend the ceremony and use the trip as an opportunity to meet Tim, Tom, Nancy and Jennifer for the first time.  Lucy Scherer hadn’t been over to see them for a couple of years so it was a good opportunity for a catch up, and was a really positive and helpful visit for everyone.  We had a really good detailed meeting on the day of the ceremony and a delicious lunch together.  The ceremony itself was great fun and these photos give you some idea of what it was like.  We’d like to say huge thanks to Mendola for their amazing hospitality and for so much encouraging and useful feedback about our artists.  We love working with you all!
