Sarah McMenemy is honoured to be part of the wonderful Poster Girls Exhibition at the London Transport Museum!
Poster Girls – a century of art and design is a new exhibit that is open till January 2019 at the London Transport Museum. With over 150 posters on the display, the exhibition celebrates the work of 20th and 21st century female graphic designers, illustrators and artists, drawing attention to the contribution they have made to the world of design throughout the past 100 years
Sarah’s beautiful piece is called ‘Simple East London by Tube and Bus’ (2000) illustrating Victoria Park in Bethnal Green. Sarah was first commissioned by London Transport Museum in 1995 to design decorative enamel panels for the refurbishment of Shadwell Station.
Remember it’s on until January 2019 – so definitely catch it while you can.
