Kate Forrester's cover for 'The End of the World…' is shortlisted at the 69th Australian Book Design Awards!

Congratulations are in order as Kate Forrester’s fantastic cover for ‘The End of the World is Bigger than Love’ by Davina Bell, has been shortlisted in the Best Designed YA Cover category at the 69th Australian Book Design Awards.

The cover is an instant Kate Forrester classic uses symmetry to great effect, with Kate’s hand-lettering perfectly balanced down the centre (no mean feat considering the the titles length!). The lettering is complimented by illustrated elements that serve as a frame, dancing in and around the words and immediately giving the viewer a glimpse of what is to come behind the cover!

Kate was kind enough to share her initial roughs as well as an alternative colour way of the cover.
