Sunnu Rebecca Choi
Sunnu Rebecca Choi is an award-winning Korean/Canadian illustrator and printmaker based in London. Sunnu specialises in visual narratives, including editorials and picture books for various age groups, from children to mid-grade to adults. She received a BFA in fashion design from Parsons School of Design in NY and an MA in illustration from Kingston University in London.
Sunnu has won and been shortlisted for multiple awards, including the World Illustration Awards, Bologna Children’s Book Fair, 3×3 Illustration Annual, Communication Arts Illustration Awards and more. Her works have been shown at various exhibitions, including the Royal Academy of Art Summer Exhibition and The Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers Exhibition.
Sunnu seamlessly blends traditional printmaking techniques and analog mediums with digital drawings to create sophisticated and refined illustrations. Sunnu’s conceptual approaches and artistic vision transcend boundaries, resulting in visually compelling artworks that resonate with audiences worldwide.
