Sam Fred Hinton is one of the Startworks artists for 2018

We are delighted to welcome Sam Fred Hinton as one of the Startworks artists for 2018, having recently graduated from Falmouth University with a first class BA Honors degree in illustration.

Having grown up in the Somerset countryside Sam’s work is often influenced by the natural environment. He takes inspiration from the colours and forms that are found in his outside surroundings, creating compositions that show a clever use of bright colour palettes and strong shapes.

Since graduating Sam has already attracted attention from the likes of National Geographic, The Rolling Home and It’s Nice That. We are super excited to see how his work develops over the next few months!
