What a year we have had at the Artworks! Our illustrators have worked on so many exciting projects, with such a range of clients and as ever we are thrilled to be working with such talented and dedicated artists.
Highlights of the year have included Rob Ball’s work for HBO’s Game of Thrones and Andrew Davidson’s specially commissioned Christmas stamps for The Royal Mail.
As ever we continue to work with some of the most exciting children’s and adult publishers in the industry. Chris Wormell’s beautiful Planetarium, Jesús Sotés’s Written in the Stars and James Weston Lewis’s intriguing The Legend of Tutankhamun are a select few of the many titles our artists have contributed to. In other news, Josie Shenoy and Dàlia Adillon were both shortlisted for the 2018 World Illustration Awards and congratulations to Hannah Bailey as her book When the Whales Walked was nominated for the Outstanding Science Trade Books 2019 list!
We are delighted to welcome a number of new artists to the Artworks family, Darling Clementine, Amy Grimes and Stephen Bliss. And as part of the Starworks programme, Sam Fred-Hinton and Alex Boocock.
We would like to take this chance to thank all of our clients, friends and illustrators for your support over the past year. We look forward to working together in 2019!
