Darling Clementine have created a whole visual universe for Redd Barna (Save the Children Norway), designing a worldwide adventure for kids to explore using their very own Redd Barna Passport. The Vidunderpost (Magical post) arrives once a month with new postcards, stickers and secret codes to learn more about that months featured country.
Creating a world map helped establish an over identity for the project; Ingrid and Tonje started out small with just one continent. Once the visuals were approved for their test continent, they expanded their style internationally and the whole map came together. The symbols and logo’s followed suit.
The main challenge was making sure everything arrived once a month as just a postcard, “We solved this by making the postcards into sticker sheets as well, so that everything they needed was included in one shipment.”
“It was great to get to design the project in its entirety and not just create the illustrations.”
The project shows what a wonderful, beautiful world we live in, especially when its designed by Darling Clementine!
