Heather Gatley has illustrated a food tour of the Mediterranean, with dishes and recipes from across its various regions for the latest issue of Waitrose Magazine.

Creating a map of as well as different regional foods to sit alongside the text, Heather’s elegant watercolour and pencil illustrations are enough to make the mouth water.

The perfect escapist project, Heather found herself, “daydreaming about holiday ideas for myself while working on these. For me, eating is one of the best parts of travelling.”
