Sarah McMenemy has illustrated a series of icons for to promote the Naval Children’s Charity, helping families access the services support.
The icons act as logo’s covering the issues children may face when they have parents in the military, including bullying, stigma, relocation, parental absence, parents separating, parental injury and death.
A natural progression from her previous work for the charity (Sarah has already written and illustrated two Childrens books helping them cope with parental absence), the icons are beautifully painted little scenes and objects in a clear blue and yellow colour scheme that help promote the message and services the charity provides.
