Claire Harrup illustrates Jams With a Twist for Harper Collins.

Claire Harrup has been commissioned by Harper Collins to illustrate ‘Jams With a Twist for the National Trust’, a recipe book all about… Jams with a twist!
The project saw Claire illustrating the cover, 5 chapter opened and around 35 smaller internal illustrations. Each was made with Claire’s signature mix of collage, painting and ink drawing before collating all the pieces digitally, showing all the different types of jam in the same jar.
I was really excited to get the brief – so many interesting recipes to illustrate, including jams like… ‘Strawberry, Balsamic Vinegar and Black Pepper Jam’ ‘Wild Sour Cherry and Garden Rose Jam’ and ‘Elderflower Float Jelly’!
