Jesús Sotés creates some wild packaging for Xauxa Chocolates.

Jesús Sotés was commisioned by Xauxa, a fair trade and organic chocolatier, to illustrate the packaging for their new range of vegan chocolate, ethically sourced from Peru.

Jesús has captured the warm climates of Peru in his colour palettes, also evoking the richness of the chocolate inside. A single figure stands amongst the trees, surrounded but unperturbed by the immediate environment; monkeys, birds and most prominently, a Jaguar. The image works as a clever allusion to Xauxa’s harmonious relationship with their farms and the landscapes where their cocoa is produced.

We can’t wait to get our hands on a few bars and try some for ourselves!
