Mary Woodin highlights the people behind the wine for Alvaro Palacios.

Mary Woodin was commissioned to illustrate the 2020 Christmas cards for Spanish winery Alvaro Palacios, highlighting the commitment and expertise of the people who work in the vineyards;

“This year has been a year out of the ordinary, in which our daily life has been shaken and in which there has been a lot of sadness and suffering.For this reason, we wanted to base this year’s greeting card on the people. Emphasizing the human factor behind each of the wineries.”

Under the art direction of Gaëlle Alemany from Estudio Dorian Mary painted the elements separately in watercolour on textured Japanese rice paper, then assembled them together as compositions in photoshop.
