Spot the difference! Lindsey Spinks has illustrated "Cities, Then and Now" for Lonely Planet Kids.

We are so excited to see the release of “Cities, Then and Now”, a lift-the-flap book fully illustrated by Lindsey Spinks. A sequel to “Ancient Wonders”, the project was commissioned by Lonely Planet Kids and gives a unique insight into how great cities looked in the past compared to the present .

Working alongside art director Andy Mansfield, Lindsey’s illustrative spreads perfectly convey the facts, ensuring the success of the book. Drawing the artworks in pencil and then colouring them and adding texture on Photoshop, the book is full of small recognisable details to pour over;
