Claire Harrup illustrates beautifully textured fish for Eating Well magazine.

Claire Harrup has been commissioned by Eating Well magazine to illustrate an article on community supported fisheries. Creating 10 fish themed illustrations of featuring specific species and aquatic elements, Claire’s unique textures give the wide-eyed kippers massive amounts of personality.

Made up of brush & ink drawing and hand-printed textures, these were then layered in photoshop, with colours inspired by photographs of the actual fisheries provided by Carey, the art director;

“I really enjoyed illustrating all the varieties of fish, they naturally have the most amazing colours and textures which makes them such a pleasure to draw from… The whole project was a total pleasure to work on from beginning to end!”
