Kate Forrester

Kate Forrester graduated in 2005 with a BA Hons in Illustration from the University of Brighton; Kate has gained international recognition as she has pursued her freelance career from various locations including London, Brighton, Madrid and the Middle East. Hand-drawn typography forms the basis of all her illustration. Kate’s skill is in combining her distinctive lettering with her decorative and whimsical illustrations.

Kate is constantly experimenting and pushing her work to create unusual, flowing, bold lettering and finding new ways to combine her love of type with illustration. Her typography is tailor designed in style to suit each specific brief. This is one of the main reasons Kate’s work is so loved by such a variety of clients.  Kate has worked for a diverse range of international commissioners across a wide variety of applications including publishing, advertising, packaging and design.
