Claire Harrup makes an impression for Waitrose Summer Packaging

Claire’s signature hand crafted and textured illustrations made her the perfect choice to create a range of food based images for this years’ Waitrose Summer packaging. Claire worked with the team at Co-Partnership on a suite of illustrations that could then be applied across a packaging design system to cleverly unite hundreds of products whilst giving an individual feel to the different sections and ingredients.

Working on the illustrations for the Waitrose summer packaging was wonderful ! We took a really playful approach right from the beginning, experimenting with printing directly from lots of different foods and embracing all of the beautiful textures and marks that they left on the page. It felt very liberating to be able to work in such an intuitive and hands on way, totally embracing the spontaneity of summer!
